hi everyone! my name is jonathon, and i'm an animator / visual designer from buffalo, ny. i initially started making art as an illustrator, but as my love of the discipline grew, i decided to branch out and try different means of visualizing my ideas. this drove me to studying graphic design, and in doing so, i began to recognize the power of computers as an artistic medium. in my art, i like to analyze and highlight the materiality of computer graphics, showcasing all of the strengths and weaknesses. i continue to learn more everyday; despite calling myself an artist, i'm truthfully more of a perpetual work in progress.
